Is this normal or am Weird ?
Okay I am 12 and turnning 13 in January. For some odd reason I only and like to listen to classic music (Brahms,Mozart,Bach,bethovenn,Handel etc.) On my I Pod it is filled with classic music, when I hear rock,pop I can;t listen to it since I dislike it a lot. All my friends around me however all listen to Rock and Pop music. Is this normal for me to be the only one in my grade level to enjoy classic? Are there advantages? Does this make me smarter? Please answer I am desparate. Are there anything negative?
I do play the piano and only play classical pieces. I room is filled with classical cds and models of famous compsoer. Is this an influence?
You like what you like – there is nothing weird or wrong with that. If you play classical piano & have been exposed to classical music all your life, than that is just what you’re drawn to. It doesn’t mean you;re smarter or dumber. An appreciation for the higher arts, such as classical music, opera, the ballet, etc., can never be considered a bad thing. It will generally make you a little different from your peers, but that doesn’t mean it’s weird, just perhaps a little more sophisticated than your friends.
