How to I set up my garage for jamming?
I have the following equipment, and I’m trying to figure what I need to add in order to have proper jamming sessions in my garage. I currently have:
A Roland TD-3 electronic drum set.
A low end Yamaha electronic keyboard.
An average electric guitar amp (Ibanez)
A nice acoustic guitar (Taylor) with pickups.
A macbook with lots of music software.
Plenty of space. Not a lot of money.
As it is right now, simply plugging everything into the guitar amp won’t cut it. I tried, but not surprisingly it sounded like complete garbage. One issue that I’m wondering about is how to get it loud enough to where the tapping sound of the drums isn’t heard.
Anyway, I’m rambling. I just want to get to the point where I can have 2-4 friends over, and have vocals, drums, piano, guitar and possibly bass.
So where do I go from here?
