Guitar sheet music?
I have been playing for over a year and half and only this week my teacher gave me a book about how to guitar sheet music. Before this we were doing some very complicated songs only that it was on tab or chord charts and not the notations. This book makes me feel that I have wasted my time. Am I behind in my learning?
Well i know how to read sheet music and i know each note its just that i can’t do it while playing guitar. I also know all my scales and modes its just i dont know the note names of each scale.
You kinda are behind in learning. I mean tabs are great but the dont teach u anything. If u can read notes u should b fine. Just practice your scales and learn to read the notes. If u need to write which note it is on the paper. Hope it wont be 2 hard on u. But u didnt waste your time, music isnt a waste.
