Would it be okay if I just played left hand chords?
I am not so good at playing bass-lines, so until I am better at it, would it be alright to just play the guitar chords as the left-hand part? It is a vocal/piano/guitar wicked songbook, and I can play the left hand and the tremolos, but for the difficult parts, I want to know if it would be okay to just insert the chords. Thanks!

You can’t play chords in the sense that you can play them on guitar, when playing on a bass they are plucked individually & chords are just basically a group of notes played over a measure. I don’t see why plucking would be a problem? sure it takes time to build speed & accuracy by a constant shifting hand but its easier than when trying to get all your strings to ring out playing guitar when starting out playing the guitar
