What do you think I am missing?
you’re an average, if not below average (because of your rank), applicant. that’s fine, but it also just means that there’s nothing special about you to set you apart from everyone else with perfect test scores and gpas. you’re like every other applicant. what you’re missing is that extra « wow » factor. you can certainly get into other top schools if you apply broadly, though.
