What can I purchase to make my front door look like it has high gloss on it?

I have a steel front security door that was white, that i had painted it black with heavy gloss black paint. It has done the job that i wanted it to do. Which was make it look like piano black in color. But I feel that the gloss part isn’t as glossy as i wanted it to be. It has came out fine and everyday people ask if I purchased a new door. but I was looking for that grand piano shine to it. Is there anything that I could buy and add on to it?? More to coat the color thats on the door now.

If you like the color you have, you can go over it with a clear coat. If the door is an interior door, you can use a gloss polyurethane. If the door is an exterior door, you would want to use a marine varnish. The clear coat should work great for a black door. Just make sure you get the gloss, because it is available in all sheens.
