hey, i had the same homework, ur best bet is to research stylistic features of the period, then see whats in the piece
tips, ur not allowed to say its serialism, as this is too general, but u could say it follows a serial structure of a prime row, which can only be transposed, inverted, retrograde or retrograde inversion. then write out the prime row, and an inversion, guarenteed to get a mark, if u say where the prime row can be heard (bar numbers) u’ll deffo get 2 marks
bassically for saying a point u get 1 mark, if u back up the point with where u hear it in the piece thats 2 marks. u can do this for all the A level pieces
