Drive Partition Efficiency?
Hey guys, i bought a new laptop with vista preloaded with a 160GB hard drive, however on arrival of the laptop i find the hard drive is split into two partitions, Vol 1 is where all my documents are stored and another one for backup, however ive tried lowering my backup partition size but cant add it to the main partition, i was wondering even if i split the partition for backup and store documents on there instead of the main volume, would it be more efficient?

as you cant save the docs or any data of urs in the OS installed drive as there may be few chances of infection of the drive…..so,u need to create an other drive as to store all the docs or any important data
as u said that we need to have an extra drive apart from backup drive
u can do that from disk management, and u can lower or increase the size of ur drives..!!!. but before making any changes, just create a Recovery disc,from ur system and preserve it forever
[type "diskmgmt.msc" in RUN].
