How to retrieve data from partially cracked cd?
Hi frnd’s.my cd had been cracked,starting from center hole to the midway(like a straight line).Is there any software or any method to retrieve data from cd as it contains some important files .Well the problem is that whenever I put my cd inside cd-rom,it shows that there is not any cd in cd-rom.Thanx for ur help.
I believe it read from the Center out- Now if that Crack affects the Foil/Backside…. Your HIT- its not soo much the Plastic Being Scratched… Its the foil that matters mainly… a little foil or shiny backing sheet MAY be taped on BACKside to deflect in and MAYBE then you get retrieve your Info. Just do a thin line over it and Pray its deflective enough to see the CD and you can get your info.. BEST of LUCK
