Help with a new acoustic guitar?
I recently got a guitar for a college class I’m taking and would like to get a head start on learning the basics. I’ve never played guitar or any other musical instrument, except piano but that was years ago. It came with a sticker and I’m not sure if it goes on or not, I’m afraid that it’ll ruin the sound of it.
I’d also like a detailed explanation of how to tune it. I’m worried that I’ll break the strings on it if I tighten them too much, but also worried that it wont sound the way it should.

Its pretty good, i’m on lesson 2 already doing fine…
there’s a section that teaches you how to tune your guitar but i recommend you to start from lesson one and not jumping parts.
Don’t worry about breaking the strings, it’s part of the learning process, so if you broke once already, you’ll know how much it takes for the next time. Plus they aren’t expensive.
The sticker thing is the pickguard, which goes beside the sound hole so that when you’re playing with your pick, it doesn’t scratch your guitar.
