Has anyone read/ recommend any of these Books or authors?
I have to read a book from this list and a book from the authors on the bottom… Any recommendations of good books or boring books to stay away from??

I’ve read some of the books and authors you listed. Isaac Asimov is one of my favorite authors. If you like science fiction, humor, wit, and themes of humanity, pick him. I especially recommend his Robot stories. I loved Sue Grafton’s earlier work in her Alphabet Series (mystery books with titles starting with « A » for the first book, « B » for the second, and so on). If you like mysteries, pick her. Ken Follet writes great thrillers. If you like thrillers, historical fiction with a 20th century background, and spy stories, pick him. Of the four authors you cited, I would say that Kurt Vonnegut’s work would be the most difficult (but only by comparison). If you like science fiction with a heavy dose of philosophy, black humor, and satire, go for him.
As for the books you listed, I recommend The Sun Also Rises because I love Hemingway and the book. It’s not as easy as some of the others to read, but it’s a very good book.
