Which of these is best for teaching myself to play the guitar?

My money would go to the book by Nick Freeth for a couple of reasons..I won’t recommend the CD’s for you right now
The chord express CD…the last link…is more for someone with a grasp of things…what good is a 1,000 chords…we need you to know a little more than that.
The deluxe CD is a little better choice but i still don’t like it for your level…because..sure it shows you a bunch of tunes and that’s great…I’m a strong believer in getting people up and playing something fun as fast as possible to keep them interested and yearning for more knowledge…but it’s still not showing you what we need the beginners to get a grasp of.
So with that said…on to the books you’ve chosen..
The first link has a book that comes with a CD and that’s great, also it is a recent Hal Leonard…can’t miss with a Hal Leonard publication….but not for you right now…
I have chosen the Nick Freeth book for you for these reasons..
1. It says it covers many different styles of playing…at least getting you exposed to that stuff is good…maybe you’ll like something other than country strumming.
2. It is 160 pages….the other book says 48 pages…nothing gonna help you in 48 pages
3. It says it will cover musical notation AND tabulature
4. It says it will discuss some of the electronic issues you may have questions about.
and a few other reasons not worth going into right now…..

The Nick Freeth book will give you the best all around overview of what you’ll come across and will cover the basics probably very well…why do scales have sharps and flats…what is the right way to finger the chords…
I feel that would be a great choice to introduce yourself to guitar and music in general…if you find it appealing…then ask for lessons and welcome aboard the music train.
