Trying to buy a digital piano – do I need to play the exact unit I’m buying?

Always used acoustic pianos in the past, but want to buy a casio px 130 now. Question is: if I order one online, are they all the same, or do I need to physically play on the exact unit I’m going to walk home with? Is there any advice on where to get the best deal?

Cormagh’s response is right on. Digital keywords are more likely to be very close in touch due to the manufacturing specs maintained by the manufacturer. However, with acoustic pianos, there’s more leeway on how it is tuned, the quality of the soundboard, etc., so you have to play on the particular acoustic piano before actually purchasing it.
