There used to be a restaurant or club in NYC that was hidden in the back of an old antique shop…?

I remember limos and cars would line up and you would see tons of people going in, but when you look in the window of the antique shop, you didn’t see them. There was a large wooden amoire in the back and thru the doors was a little victorian like parlor or reception area covered in rich reds and a piano bar and this huge glass teraniam I think you call it with birds and other things alive behind the glass. Does anyone remember this place and know the name of it? It’s been many years since I saw it.

It was on eight ave in the 20s and it was called Chelsea Place. It had great food until they wrote it up in a Magazine article. That was in the 70s. If i am right i want the 10 points
