How can i record my keyboard sounds into FL Studio piano roll?
I want to use my own keyboard’s sounds but I’m not sure how this would work
You can only record the keyboard sounds through your sound card. If it doesn’t have a line in (blue) socket you will have to buy a USB unit and they cost about £40-90. If you have a line in buy a 3.5mm stereo cable and a converter jack if your keyboard line out/headphone socket is 1/4 inch (bigger than an MP3 player socket). You will then have to set the record channel in your Windows sound mixer to line in.
Frankly Fruity Loops has far better sounds than a home keyboard so stick to Midi and use soundfonts if you want real instrument sounds.
