what is the best high quality audio and midi software?
I want to record my own songs. I have a midi piano that I can connect up to my computer. So what is the very best software I could use to get very high quality audio recordings that also has a MIDI sequencer, and where can I download it from? Another thing, will I be alright with the microsoft default sound card, or would getting another one be a good idea? Thanks in advance.
Jack, if you are really serious about the quality of your recordings, then don’t buy just any cheap recording software. Yes, you are much better off using a broadcast quality sound card like the one that comes in the NEW Avid Mbox audio/midi USB computer interface which also just happens to come with the industry standard recording software (Pro Tools).
