If I play piano by ear what is an easy, 2nd instrument I can teach myself to play without reading notes?
For example, the harp plays similar to a piano because the strings are in the same musical order (c,d,e..) but that is too big and expensive. I want a more portable and cheap instrument that sounds nice, not screechy like a recorder.
if you’re good with your fingers & playing by ear, i’d suggest you try either a guitar or ukulele. it’ll take a while to get a feel for it, but if you’re patient, it can be really fun!
