Can I sell a piano to a pawn shop?
It’s an electric piano, not a keyboard. It’s the size of a regular piano, has foot pedals and everything, and a bench that goes with it. If the pawn shop takes it, how much do you think I could get off of it? It’s really nice, and cost me $1,700 when I got it only a year ago. I won’t sell it to them if I cannot get at least a thousand for it, could I get that for it?
Hi,
You’d be lucky if they offer 50% of what you paid. They don’t sell that quickly unless the price is low therefore the pawn shop doesn’t want to lay out a lot of money for an item that could sit there for 6 months. Check on ebay to see what they typically sell for & maybe you’re better off trying to sell it locally and get a better deal.
