answer me, about heavy Rock/Metal bands (Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, Pin…)?
hey, I doNOT understand, [no one does!]
are these bands such as Metallica, Pink Floyd, Guns N’ Roses, R.E.M, … atheists?
it’s hard and also easy to understand it, but I don’t know.
Metallica have a song named « The God that failed », but in « One » James [from a religious family]says :God! help me, God wake me
or their new video, ‘The day that never Comes’, in the end, the soldiers see the Muslim woman, and let them break free and even help them, and in the end, the soldier looks at the sky, into the light – in a religious way, I think he was thanking God!…
udonno, the others are like it too, I’m embbaressed, please tell me about them.
ordinary ppl think the first satanic band is Metalllica, but I’m not sure, just tell me if they’re anti-God or…

« God! help me, God wake me » is just an expression, but they may very well be religious. Maybe born-again Christians (they used to be atheist, went christian). Because, as you know, One is an old song, and the Day That Never Comes is a new song.
I don’t think they’re really anti-God.
I doubt those other bands are « anti-God », as in burn-the-churches sort of anti. They might be atheists, but their religion doesn’t seem to affect their music much in these cases.
Another example is Dave Mustaine from Megadeth (thrash metal), who is a born-again Christian. Megadeth have old songs with names such as Go To Hell. Then when he had kids and all, he went Christian.
And Iron Maiden are a religious band, but they’re metal.
