I call myself a traitor
Mishevious and unconvincing
I scamper across the forest tracks
Green eyes visible through endless shawls
Lanterns in the darkness
I set out to be alone
Alone with the mass of trees
The smell of freshness
The cold air
Freedom
Back in society, back there
There was too much irritation
Too much judgement
Broken love, broken dreams
Here there is no more torment
The pearly moon blanches my path
Its heavenly out here
I come to a jaded pond
That reflects like a diamond
I dream of fairies and they appear
Bopping between the trees
They glitter, glimmer and smile
And giggle as they peer
I burst into fine melody
Here in my perfect world
I am with me
