My friend and I?
ok….. Her and I are 13 *background info* we had this Pianorama thingie where duets play with other people. Kinda like an Orchestra but with a lot of Pianos. Well…. my mom could not take me to any of the rehearsals, so her mom took me to 3 rehearsals.
Now the trouble begins. On the performance list, my group was 2nd to last. It began at 6 and I told my mom to be there by 7 because we were towards the end. When we got there at 6:50, my group was already performing, so I was just watching. I felt SO bad. Her mom wanted me to play with her daughter SO bad that she me to rehearsals. Also, she enjoyed me playing with her daughter, but I let her down. What do u think I should do to redeem myself? Please, I feel really bad right now….

Crap happens. Just apologize for the mix up and that’s about all you can do. Sure you feel bad and probably will for a bit, but don’t beat yourself up to bad over it.
If some people won’t let it go then stop hanging around or going around those people. It the big picture of life, really how bad is this?? Nobody died or got hurt, physically.
It was an honest mistake so you have no reason to hold onto this and feel bad for any period of time. But try really hard to handle this as maturely as you can because believe me, worse stuff then this will happen in your life time and how you start handling stuff like this now, the better off you’ll be as you get older.
If you cry when you apologize that’s okay. But it’s done, it’s over with. Nothing anyone can do to change it now, no matter how bad you feel or how bad they might make you feel.
Life is very forgiving, we just have a tough time forgiving ourselves.
