Inherited Old Piano?
Could someone tell me the year the piano was made and what the series was called?
And how much I should probably insure it for.
The maker is John Broadwood.

The piano looks exactly like this except it has a leaf pattern at the top and base of the front panel (at the edges on either side) and instead of front panels it has two casters on carved legs. (again with a leaf design)
The keys start and end on A.
From what I gather it’s quite old but still plays well and is in pretty good condition, the only damage being mild stress to the veneering.

There is a list of pianos made by Broadwood and their years. Without actually seeing the piano it would be very hard to tell you anything. I suggest you find someone in your town to appraise your piano.
