What are some upbeat piano collections I could listen to?
I’d like to listen to them along with studying but I want stuff a bit different from classical arrangements. I don’t even know where to begin looking for piano albums and such.
Um…what do you mean by « upbeat »? Uplifting? Most of classical music is that, but you have to find the composers/eras which « speak » to YOU, which may be different from those which speak to me.
If you mean fast-paced, then stay away from « Nocturnes » or, if you check out the listings, pieces marked as « Andante », « Largo »–those are slow paces.
Of course, most classical pieces have a lot of variety; pieces of any length have variations of key, tempo, « feeling »–this variety helps to make classical music what it is. 
I think you need to just start listening broadly to see what you like. I’d stay away from « early music »/medieval stuff, and « modern » classical, too. Since you specifically mention piano, you might want to listen to Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninoff–that will give you a range of composers, and you should at least find something pleasant there.
