Im teaching myself to play the electric keyboard…. Whats the next step… I can play simple melodies like Ode to Joy, Alouette, Auld Lang Synce, For hes a jooly good fellow, etc… I have pretty decent key recognition and can read basic music. What are some good beginning two handed songs I can play? I can play Ode to Joy, etc with chords but need something abit more challenging….

Find yourself a beginner piano player book. John Thompson, Edna Burnham, Michael Aaron, all have good method books for piano. Sounds like you’re at least at level 2 by now, so go get grade 2 and 3 of one of those series for music at your level.
