What should I learn first for self thought piano lessons?
Should I learn the theory (how to read the tabs and notes) first or should I familiarize myself with the piano keys first?
It really depends on how you want to play…
In general I would say Forget about the theory and just get down to playing.
You don’t need to be thinking about all the theory whilst starting out… it’ll just get in the way.
I made a video, how to learn piano in under 10 minutes… the idea is to just get you started…
Then you can go on and learn from a home study course or from a professional piano teacher whichever suits you.
