At what value should I sell my guitar and guitar books/DVD’s?
For my 13th birthday, my mom bought me an acoustic guitar because I desperately wanted to learn how to play. My sixteenth birthday is in a few months, and I never learned how to play my guitar. I want to sell it because it’s just been sitting in my closet, but I don’t know what value to sell it and all of the books/DVD’s that go with it. I don’t want to get ripped off. Here are the estimates based on the prices I found online:

What price should I sell all of this for?
I forget to add that this includes a bag of $3.00 guitar picks, and a really nice guitar case.
I would think more along the lines of $200, certainly no more than $250, your selling a 3 year old acoustic that’s never been played, it’s going to need new strings and a good cleaning by whoever buys it.
