Reading Keyboard Music-Who thinks that reading music is really that easy & simple once you concentrate?
I have a sheet that shows you were the letters(A-G)are for the treble and the bass clef and I now find reading music to be easier,I play piano by ear(sometimes using all black keys and white keys) and I didn’t have the intentions of relying on written music now I want to be able to try to read music,I keep thinking that if I get my music book and I try and play the notes off of the music,I look at the music and find where G is and I play G on the keyboard and then I do the same till I get to the end of the song.
It comes easier and easier. I first started by just down loading a music writing software and seeing what sounded good. Then people told me a little hear and there, now I can read music pretty good. What really helped me was knowing that B and E do not have sharp note. So I would count out the keys and find the right notes from there.
Really though I do suggest finding some one who can teach you it is so much easier it is not even funny. I plan on taking some official piano lessons in the summer to get even better
