Building a figurine out of porcelain…anyone have any experiance with this product?
Well, I’ve got a school project to start on and it involves building something. Personally I have no problem, but I’ve never worked with many hands on crafts. What I have to build is a plague doctor circa Europe 1300′s http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/5d/Doktorschnabel_430px.jpg
I found this stuff at Michaels http://www.michaels.com/art/online/displayProductPage?productNum=gc0417&channelid=
but I don’t know if it’s any good or if this is the right product to use for such a project. Another question is, do you think I should just make a small scale model of the whole figure, or a large mask? Please if anyone has used this product, give me a review 
That stuff should be fine! Make sure pieces you add to one another are very well rubbed into each other or they will separate when drying, and as it may be fragile when done, I would go with making the figure instead of the mask so there will be less wear and tear on the piece.
