A question for all professional piano players ?
i have started my piano lessons late when i was 12..i progressed not bad..then i stopped after like 4 or 5 years…now i ‘m 28 ..can i regain my ability to play piano again by training?…is it possible ?..i almost forgot all the pieces i used to play but still can read the musical notes.
You should probobly take more lessons. I took eight years of lessons and played straight for a few more, than nearly severed my finger. After a few surgeries, I started playing again and realized I was not as swift as I used to be. I am only now getting back to that level but it was hard getting the motivation to sit down and bang something out. I think lessons would have given me the kick in the but I needed to get serious about it. Also, I was only down for about 2 years, you are looking at a much more serious gap. It could only help.
