Where can I find a good piano lesson program?
My husband know how to play some songs but wants to learn more. I want to get him a book or cd that can teach him how to play more songs. It will be the perfect Christmas gift for him. If anyone knows of a good program.. that’s not a fortune or knows a store I can find stuff like that, that be great. Thanks
There are great books available with CD included, to teach yourself to play the piano. There are also packages with piano lessons, including notes and video tutorials that you can purchase and download.
Depending on your husbands level- if he is a beginner and does not know how to read music I would recommend: Alfred’s Teach Yourself To Play Piano or the newer Alfred’s Self-Teaching Adult Piano Course, Play Piano Today! is also good.
If he already knows a little how to read music: I used to play piano by Alfred’s.
If he is more interested in learning to play chords and make up his own accompaniment to songs
