How much is a Yamaha GH1 Ebony Grand PIano worth?

I bought it brand new. It’s in mint condition. Rarely played.

Between the U1j and GH1 Yamaha made a name for itself in America. They are the two instruments that really made the piano division of Yamaha popular here.

The U1 is a tall professional upright, and the GH1 is it’s 5’3″ grand piano cousin. If it is truly mint condition you might list it for about $9,000; and expect to get perhaps $7k for it. But nobody can give you a real price for the instrument on the Internet without seeing it and evaluating the individual instrument in your market.

People, being what they are, will want a new instrument. The best marketing for a used piano may be to display it next to an equivalent (Read: Yamaha GC1) and prominently display the price tag.

… not to be political like your other responder, people will still purchase luxury items even after the next rounds of tax increases.
