Easy/familiar pop/rock pieces/books for beginner piano?
I’m bored with the stuff in the beginning piano lesson book (1B) series (Alfred) that I am following (I do the practice in preparation for the week’s lesson, but these short exercises are not very interesting). I’d like to get a book of more familiar pop, rock or folk type pieces written at a level for a beginner (ie. Not too many sharps or flats, fairly simple cords) that I could also practice with. Any specific book titles, author names and publisher would be appreciated. Thanks.
