What is an Ideal height for workbench if using an adjustable drafting stool but also standing over the bench?

I’m 5’9″, and the workbench will be used for electronics. I plan on using an adjustable drafting stool to sit on, but I also want the top of the work surface to be high enough so I can stand and work comfortably. I don’t want to hunch over too much.

Kitchen counter height: 34″-36″.
You could go up to 40″-42″ if you’re taller than the average bear.

Think of it this way – kitchen counters are designed to be used in a standing position. Plus, you’ll be able to get your legs under it using the lowest position for the drafting stool.
