Best method for fast learning on blues piano?
I don’t want to sit and learn all kinds of kiddie or old tunes as I pay someone for hours and years. Anyone know what book or cd or DVD I can use to pick up chords suitable for blues? what is yr experience and what kind of teacher would I look for?
First of all, and most importantly, you can’t just ask for a fast track guide to the piano (no matter what style you want to learn). If you are serious about learning how to play blues on the piano, start with learning how to read music and learn your scales. After that, pick up sheet music and focus on learning how to play music that already exists.
If you are looking for a solid teacher, seek out a person who has a background in blues, jazz and gospel.
