What to find in a good piano teacher and what level would I be in?
I used to take piano lessons when I was 5 and stopped when I was 7. (only two years.)
I’m considering to take them again. I’m 13, by the way.
What level would I be in? When I stopped, I was done with Piano Adventures 3B and was doing the book Czerny The Little Pianist.
What would a good piano teacher be like? The prices? Should I visit him/her in a studio or have them come to my home? And, how many days should the piano teacher arrive?
half an hour per week once a week (usually same time same place each week)
a good teacher will only teach from their own place – you will have to travel
GBP could be 40 to 50
USD could be 60 to 80
these prices are per hour, so you would only pay half
you would only be at a very basic level (if you remember anything)
you have to see how you ‘get on’ with the teacher
you may need to have (paid for) trial lessons at 2 or 3 different places to see who you find the best
