How do I summarize a book in my own words?
I have book report to do in English (*gasp!*– no way!) and of course I need to do a presentation, and it’s nothing too major, but I read a pretty fast paced book, and it’s hard to summarize quickly. It’s also hard because it’s the second book in the series. But it’s not like anybody who’ll be listening will care, anyway, but still…
The book I read, if you want to know, was The Dead of Night, by John Marsden.
1. Write the basic idea of the book.
2. Write a more detailed plot of the book.
3. Write your thoughts on the book (not to long if this is for a short essay).
4. Finish with checking the grammar and punctuation. Type it in word so there is less chance for mistake.
