installed slave sata hdd, but need to keep data..possible?
ok i appreciate the help i will try keep this short 
i have a 250GB hdd from an external enclosure (seagate freeagent) this was not working externally, faulty enclosure. i installed it in my pc connected the sata cable etc and switched it on via the bios. everything fine, now to prepare the disk for use seagate discwizard says i need to delete the partitions in order to continue but i need my data as its almost full!
it is recognised in device manager along with my master drive how can i use the disc normally without deleting my data….

You don’t need to use any disk wizards. Simply go into Control panel, Administrative tools, Computer Management, Storage, Disk Manager, and assign it a drive letter. It already is formatted so your discwizard is simply not « intelligent » enough to know it is a valid drive.
